As a result of recent business success and growth, FinCorp has replaced its computers in branches across the country. In doing so, the company had an opportunity to donate its existing working computers to worthy schools and other organisations after resetting them.
Team members in each branch nominated two schools, charities or government departments – the only requirement being to choose someone in need. FinCorp representatives will personally deliver the computers to the nominated organisations.
Mr Tayler believes it’s FinCorp’s ongoing responsibility to put Papua New Guinea first.
“Progressing PNG is a top priority for us. Any opportunity to improve technology, education and everyday lives is one we’ll jump at. The donation of surplus technology equipment is the perfect chance to celebrate our success while giving back to the community at the same time,” he commented.
New devices are being donated to these organisations: Bitapaka Secondary School, Fountain FODE Study Centre, Government Health Department Salary Office, Kiripia Secondary School, Susa Mama, Morobe Provincial FODE Centre, EHPHA Salary Section, CIS Bihute, Badihagwa Technical Secondary School and K-9 Dog Unit Bomana. FinCorp is actively involved with many charities in the community. The organisation has plans to roll out many more support initiatives like this one as they continue to grow in size and impact.
